Stress is a part of life for most Americans, with relationships, money and health being some of the top things we stress about. But it turns out, where we live can also make a difference in how stressed we are and a new report reveals where it’s the worst and where Americans cope the best with it.

  • WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Most and Least Stressed Cities in the U.S.
  • They compared 182 cities across the country on 39 key metrics in the areas of work, financial, family and health & safety stress.
  • Cities were rated on everything from average weekly work hours to divorce rates to housing affordability.
  • The most stressed city in the U.S. is Cleveland, Ohio, which has the highest financial stress and is second for health and safety stress.
  • The city with the worst work stress is Denver, Colorado, while Fresno, California, has the worst family stress.
  • The least stressed city in the country is Fremont, California, which is at the bottom for both financial and health & safety stress.
