Harrisonburg Media Group and Top Bead Welding Service are joining forces with the Salvation Army to help local families in need this holiday season. The organizations are hosting an Angel Tree at the radio station to collect gifts for children across the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County community.
Residents can stop by the station, select a child’s name from the tree, and shop for items on their holiday wishlist. Angels are available for adoption now through December 5 during weekday business hours.
Gifts purchased for Angel Tree children must be dropped off at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds by December 8, ensuring the Salvation Army has time to distribute donations to families before Christmas.
Community members are invited to participate by visiting the Harrisonburg Media Group office at 1820 Heritage Center Way between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The annual Angel Tree drive focuses on providing holiday support to families facing financial hardship and aims to make the season brighter for local children who might otherwise go without gifts.
