Luke Combs’ wife, Nicole Combs, is pregnant with Baby No. 3.
Luke and Nicole made the announcement on Tuesday (September 23), sharing a video on Instagram of the sweet moment they showed their two young sons the sonogram images. The clip is set to Combs’ unreleased ballad, “Days Like These.” Nicole shared on her Instagram story minutes after sharing the pregnancy reveal that Luke “is in London [as part of the lineup on the Grand Ole Opry’s first-ever international show] playing Days Like These at the exact time I posted the announcement.” Nicole wrote in her caption on the announcement: “Third time’s a charm! ✨Baby #3 coming this winter 🤍”
Luke and Nicole welcomed their firstborn child, son Tex Lawrence Combs, on Father’s Day in June 2022. The country star said at that time that he and Nicole “are over the moon in love with this little guy. Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good.” They welcomed Baby No. 2, Beau Lee Combs, just over a year later in August 2023. Nicole said at that time, “welcome to the world. We couldn’t love you more.” Nicole said while responding to a few questions on her Instagram story last year that it might be “a bit hard” to welcome Baby No. 3 while in a two-bedroom home, but “who knows!”
Luke, who recently shared a tribute to his wife on the couple’s five-year wedding anniversary, has previously shared sweet glimpses of his life as a dad. He released a 12-track album, Fathers & Sons, in June 2024, and shared a heartfelt message to Tex and Beau when he released “The Man He Sees In Me” from that album: “First and foremost, I will always love you, no matter what. With this song, I want you to know that even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest every day to be the best version of myself for you both. I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man I’m sure, but dang we’ll have some fun, too. I can’t wait to see what you both turn out to be like and I hope someday down the road I get to watch you and your kids do the same. Love, Dad.”
The “Back In The Saddle” superstar is one of the latest artists to announce a baby on the way, following an announcement shared the same day by solo artist and former Runaway June lead singer Naomi Cooke Johnson, Thomas Rhett and others. Artists expecting babies by the end of the year include Scotty McCreery, Chris Lane, Hannah Ellis, Hailey Whiters and more. See the list of pregnancy announcements here.
