Sam Hunt still managed to finish the final song in his set even though he lost power on stage over the weekend.

Hunt, who recently welcomed Baby No. 3 with wife Hannah Lee Fowler, performed at Boots & Hearts Music Festival over the weekend in Ontario, Canada. The lineup also included HARDY, Koe Wetzel, Chase Rice, Bailey Zimmerman, Tyler Hubbard and more. On Saturday night (August 9), Hunt was performing “House Party” when he lost power mid-song.

“We'll have a house party, we don't need nobody/ Turn your TV off, break that boom-box out/ We'll wake up all the neighbors 'til the whole block hates us/ And the cops show up and try to shut us down/ If you're gonna be a homebody/ We're gonna have a house party/ If you wanna be a homebody/ We're gonna have a house party”

Hunt shared a clip on TikTok and Instagram on Monday (August 11) to thank the Books & Hearts crowd “for helping us finish the last song when we lost power.” Commenters said that moment was “unforgettable in the best possible way,” “epic,” “iconic,” and “the absolute best ending to a concert. Unplanned but (absolutely) perfect.”

“House Party” was one of several hit singles that appeared on the Georgia-born country star’s debut studio album, Montevallo, in 2014. That album also included “Take Your Time,” “Leave The Night On,” “Break Up In A Small Town,” “Make You Miss Me” and more. Watch that moment here:
