No one can write and sing love songs quite like country artists can. Some of the biggest artists in the genre have released some of the best, most heartfelt songs, and they’re often penned with loved ones in mind.
Some husband-and-wife artist duos have collaborated on some of the most sentimental duets, including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, a country power couple since they said “I do” in the 90s. McGraw and Hill teamed up on “It’s Your Love,” for example, shortly after their 1996 wedding. Other big names in country music have released love songs of their own, including “Forever After All” by Luke Combs, “Thank God” by married couple Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, and “The Good Ones” by Gabby Barrett, to name a few. And, who can forget the timeless 70s ballad, “I Will Always Love You,” by beloved country legend Dolly Parton?
Whether you’re looking for a recent release or a classic country hit, there’s likely an artist out there who has written a song that was inspired by a significant other. Take a look at some of the biggest country love songs below:
Trisha Yearwood (written with husband Garth Brooks), “For The Last Time”
Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be” (inspired by Tyler Hubbard’s wife, Hayley)
