Page Co Mom threatens guns over Mask Mandate

A Page County mom who spoke out against mask mandates in the county school system at Thursday's Page County School Board Meeting, verbally threatened to bring "... every single gun loaded..." if her children were required to wear masks to school on Monday. She identified herself as Amelia King of Luray before she spoke and her comments were recorded on video. You can view the statement HERE at the 41:45 mark. Luray Police released this statement on their Facebook Page Friday: "In regard to the comments made by a parent at the Page County School Board Meeting on January 20, 2022. Luray Police Department takes all threats seriously, however, they must meet Virginia State Code and the parameters that are set forth, and must be a violation of state code. Luray Police Department, Page County Sheriff's Office and the Page County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office are actively investigating this incident."...This incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
