It’s Up to Us! Let’s Raise $1 Million for our Community
It’s HERE! The fourth annual Great Community Give, Harrisonburg and Rockingham County’s community wide giving day, arrives this Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Over the past three years, Great Community Give has funded over $1.6 million in support of local nonprofit agencies.
GCG2021 has a challenge to raise $1 million for 116 participating nonprofit organizations and is open for gifts of credit card, checks or cash of $10 or more. For those who prefer to donate by cash and/or checks*, they may send their contributions directly to the nonprofit organization(s) of their choice. Credit card giving is securely recorded at www.greatcommunitygive.org.
For people aligned with supporting a local nonprofit organization, Peer to Peer pages are available. Peer to Peer pages are standard to set up to encourage Social Fundraising and those interested may visit www.GreatCommunityGive.org for information.

The Great Community Give, an initiative of The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, is a sunrise to sunset giving day event that promotes charitable giving to support nonprofit organizations in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The Great Community Give will take place on April 21, 2021 from 6:30am to 8:00pm
