Mickey Guyton is glowing in a new photo taken during a recent maternity photoshoot!
The snapshot, shared on Guyton's Instagram page, finds the singer wearing a rolled-up black long-sleeved shirt accessorized with pieces of dainty jewelry. The mom-to-be is seen smiling as she looks down and gently touches her baby bump.
"Stop for a minute. Baby, I’m so glad that you’re mine," Guyton wrote in the caption, referring to the lyrics of Amy Grant's 1991 hit, "Baby, Baby."
Comments from adoring fans and friends poured in, including a response from Grant herself who wrote, "Mickey, this is your greatest accomplishment. So happy for you. With love and prayers, your fellow hard-working mom…"
Guyton's latest post follows up another pregnancy snapshot that was shared just days before.
"I will look after you and I will look after anybody you say needs to be looked after, any way you say. I am here. I brought my whole self to you. I am your mother.” - Maya Angelou 📸& 💇🏾♀️&💄: @dandremichael," she wrote alongside the black-and-white portrait.
Guyton has yet to reveal her exact due date, however, based on the photos, it looks like she's getting to the end of her pregnancy.
"This baby is an absolute miracle," she told People at the time, going on to discuss her concerns about raising a Black son in America.
"I've seen racial injustice happen to my husband. I've had a 'Karen' falsely make claims against him and say some of the most heinous things, like the N-word," Guyton explained. "I'm growing this Black child in my belly that is going to have to face this. I pray for him."
"I just want this baby to just have its own life and have its own choices, and I will accept this baby for who or whatever it chooses to be," she added. "I just want to support it in every way that I can."
Guyton and Savoy have been married since 2017. They tied the knot that June in Hawaii. Stay tuned for updates on the couple's baby on the way!
