Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance is bringing the “Best.Weekend.Ever.” summer festival to Downtown Harrisonburg on Saturday, June 14th. This family-friendly event offers tons of fun for everyone with live music, magicians, community art projects, crafts, food specials, food trucks, vendors, and a Sip & Stroll experience.
Throughout downtown, you can join hands-on activities like crafts, lawn games, tie-dye, dunk tanks, jewelry making, mask decorating, rock painting, and more — all designed for kids and adults to earn fun badges while exploring local businesses.
Shoppers will enjoy special sales and discounts at local shops like Lineage Goods, Dart Resale + Trade, Central Library’s book sale, Midtowne Market, and Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn, with some spots hosting unique events such as a Tea Party Market and outdoor demos.
Live music fills the day with performances from acoustic duos, bluegrass bands, jazz groups, folk singers, and alt-country artists at various downtown venues and stages.
