A former Disney employee got a little goofy when caught stealing thousands of dollars in theme park costumes -- and ended up attacking cops who tried to stop his Mickey Mouse heist.
Patrick Spikes reportedly used his old Disney World ID to sneak into the Magic Kingdom and make off with $7000 worth of costumes and props in several trips that went down in front of surveillance cameras. Cops were able to track the 24-year-old, who refused to answer questions and demanded he be allowed to call his mom.
When the cop doing the questioning refused that request, Spikes grabbed his phone and tried to bolt the scene before tussling with the officer and wrestling him to the ground. He's facing a series of charges. (Inside the Magic)
