Hunter Hayes has done it and successfully set a new Guinness World Record over the weekend by playing the most concerts in multiple cities in a 24-hour period. Hunter played 10 shows in 10 cities in 24 hours and broke the Flaming Lips world record of eight shows in 24 hours. Hunter launched the whirlwind tour to promote his new album, Storyline, which just hit stores last week, but also to help bring awareness to child hunger, by teaming up with ConAgra Foods for the 24-hour road race.
Hunter's Child Hunger Ends Here program, kicked off Friday morning on Good Morning America, with a performance in Times Square, followed by shows in Boston, Worcester, Mass., Providence, R.I., New London, Conn., New Haven, Conn., Stamford, Conn., South Orange, N.J., Asbury Park, N.J. and the finale performance in Philadelphia.
Along the way, Hunter received support at some of his shows from Dan + Shay, Charlie Worsham, up-and-coming country band The Railers, and singer/songwriters Dean Alexander and Matt Sucich. The official music playlist for the tour was powered by The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver."
Congrats to Hunter!
